FAUX: CHAPTER 5 Extended.

Faux: The Graphic Novel will soon be entering Chapter 5. I'm going to be taking this opportunity to restore some of the elements that I cut from the original animated release: Cut scenes and extended dialogue.

CHP.6 News!

Okay,

The bad news: So FAUX: CHAPTER 6 has been in the works for almost a year now... And
truth be told it's a long ways from being done. It's a huge undertaking and I have even less spare time now than I did before...

and now...

The GOOD NEWS!: FAUX: CHAPTER 6 is coming out sometime in December!
What manner of black magic is this you ask? Well as you may have noticed I've been converting FAUX into an actual comic for a couple months now. The plan being that if it seemed the next chapter was not going to be finished in a reasonable time, I could continue it in this format.

This has been a decision I've been weighing for some time now. In the end what's most important is to tell the story, and that'll be hard if I'm getting an episode out a year...

So what happens to the animated version? I do hope to finish it at some point. But for now it's shelved, until I can figure out a way to get it finished in a reasonable delay. Bringing FAUX over to animation was perhaps overly ambitious, but I'm quite proud of what's been done so far for Chapter 6, hopefully I'll get to share the animated version with you someday.

FAUX: CHAPTER 6 is coming out sometime in December. (as a comic :D)

Hello! Sorry was a bit late with the pages this week. But they are up now. Also there's a new site up for the comic http://fauxcomic.com/, it's a little easier to navigate than the tumblr version. In other news stay tuned for some Chapter 6 info sometime this weekend.

Work on Chapter 6 is moving along. But I still need voices for a few characters.

If you are interested in playing one or several of the characters send me an email at (marsoupskin at gmail dot com).

Include in the email:

-the name's of the character(s) you are interested in.

-a link to your DEMO or you may attach it to you email if you wish.

EDIT: Samples of previous work is fine also.

Not sure when the choices will be made for the casting as I'm still finalising the script. But I'll let you know when I've done so.

All the characters except Braun will recur in future episodes.

FAUX chp.3 animation test

At some point I wanna add voices to ep.1-4 made a test to see how I might go about doing that. 

I'd likely keep things pretty much the same other than that. Except maybe add some animation to places that could really use it. (Scenes of people running for example.)

The important thing would be to update them concurrently with making new episodes, moving forward should be priority.

So this is a test I made. there's no dialogue. 

Waddya think? Opinions, suggestions?

Something I'm working on.

I'm making a cartoon at the moment. I'm almost  done the animation, just need to finish all the backgrounds and tighten the timing a bit. 

Here's a couple of stills.

This thing has been in my head for a couple of years now, pretty excited about finishing it. It really grew out of a song that screamed "Animate to me!".

New Digs.

The blog's been moved over here and given a name change. Be sure to update your bookmarks.

Haven't posted in a while, I'll try and change that. I'm working on a short cartoon right now that'll be done sometime soon. Been having so much fun with it I can't wait to share.

Haven't had as much time to work on Faux as I would've liked, but been hacking a way at it bit by bit. The ball is starting to roll again. I've got some stuff to post, but for now I'll start with this.
